Pour the full package of mix gradually into 2 quarts/1.9 liters of boiling water (212 degrees F / 100 degrees C). 3. Stir briskly with wire whisk until smooth and thickened, while returning to medium-high heat; or cover and let stand for 10 minutes, then stir briskly with wire whisk. Yield 74 fl.oz. Serve immediately or hold on steamtable. For Smaller Quantity Preparation: 1 qt + 1/2 C yield; 2 c (approximate) sauce mix; 8 oz (226 g) dry weight sauce mix; 1 qt boiling water. 2-1/4 C yield; 1 c (approximate) sauce mix; 4 oz (113 g) dry weight sauce mix; 2 c boiling water. Caution: Trio Alfredo Sauce Mix, like other dry powdered food, can be highly flammable. Do not pour over open flame, whether mixing or at any other time. Store in cool, dry place.
