Sun Bird Sunbird Chow Mein Seasoning Mix

What you need: 1/2 lb. boneless chicken, beef or pork; cut in strips; 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tsp sugar, and 3/4 cup water; 2 tbsp oil; 2 celery stalks, sliced; 1 onion and 1 carrot, sliced; 2 cups bean sprouts; 1 can (5 oz.) crisp Chow Mein Noodles. Preparations: 1. Combine seasoning, soy sauce, sugar and water; set aside. 2. Heat oil in skillet or wok; stir-fry meat. 3. Add vegetables except bean sprouts; stir-fry. 4. Add bean sprouts and seasoning mixture; stir-fry 1 minute. 5. Serve over chow mein noodles. Makes 6 servings, about 1 cup each as prepared above.
