Cooking Directions: 1. Measure 1 cup Sarita Rice, and (if desired) a teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon butter, margarine, or cooking oil into a pan. 2. Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. (For a drier rice, use slightly less water). 3. Cover with tight fitting lid. Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking.
