Lefty's Spices Fish N Chicken Mix

Pan Fry Directions: Heat oil in deep fryer to 340 degrees. Mix 1/4 cup of Lefty's Fish n' Chicken Mix with 1 cup of water. Whisk until a smooth texture is formed. Set aside. Pour as much Lefty's Fish n' Chicken Mix in a large bowl as needed. Dip each piece of fish or poultry into the wet batter and then completely coat each dipped piece into the dry mixture. Place in heated oil and fry until golden brown. Do not pour any of the mix back into the bag once it has been introduced to the fish or poultry. Once the product has been used, do not save any remaining product for future use. Oven Fry Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a large baking pan with vegetable oil. Mix 1/4 cup of Lefty's Fish n' Chicken Mix with 1 cup water. Whisk until a smooth texture is formed (wet batter). Place the Lefty's Fish n' Chicken Mix (dry mix) into another bowl. Dredge the chicken pieces in the wet batter and shake off excess. Place the wet pieces of chicken into the dry mix being sure to coat each piece evenly. Place the chicken pieces skin side up into the baking pan. Drizzle chicken with olive oil and place the pan into the oven. Bake, uncovered for 50 to 60 minutes or until the juices run clear. Suggestions: For a thicker crust, modify the wet batter to 1/2 cup of Lefty's Fish n' Chicken Mix instead of 1/4 cup. For a more quality product, sift the dry mixture when it starts to cake-up.
