1 Serving: 1 cup cold water; dash salt (optional); 1/2 cup Quick Rolled Oats. 2 Servings: 1-3/4 cups water; 1/8 tsp salt (optional); 1 cup Quick Rolled Oats. 4 Servings: 3-1/2 cups water; 1/4 tsp salt (optional); 2 cups Quick Rolled Oats. Stove Top Directions: 1. Bring water and salt to a boil. 2. Stir in oats. 3. Cook 1 minute over medium heat. stir occasionally. For creamier oatmeal combine water, salt and oats: bring to a boil: cook as directed. Microwave Directions: 1. Combine water, salt and oats in a 1 quart (medium) microwavable bowl. 2. Microwave on high 1-1/2 to 2 minutes: stir before serving. Caution: Bowl may be hot. Due to differences in microwave ovens, cook time is approximate.
