Ducktrap River of Maine Plain Smoked Trout

To maximize flavor, serve at room temperature. Smoked trout can be served as an hour. Oeuvre on toast or a cracker, plain or with juice, mayonnaise or a combination of whipped cream and horseradish. Serve highly sautéed with eggs for breakfast, or as a main course warmed in the oven and topped with hollandaise sauce and chopped parsley. Keep refrigerated at 38 degrees F (3 degrees C) or less. Ducktrap smoked trout has been carefully sealed in a vacuum package. Because we use no artificial preservatives. Must be kept refrigerated at 38 degrees F or less when not being served. It is best stored unopened. It can be frozen for up to 3 months. After opening, it should be kept well wrapped the refrigerator and eaten within 4 days. Perishable: Keep refrigerated at 38 degrees F or below. Use within four days of opening.
