Dixie Lily Long Grain Rice

To retain vitamins do not rinse before or drain after cooking. Cooking Directions: 1. Combine 1 cup rice and 2 cups water in 2 quart saucepan. Add 1 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, if desired. 2. Bring to a boil, stirring once or twice as water comes to boil. 3. Reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook about 15 minutes. Do not remove lid or stir. 4. For drier rice - fluff lightly with fork, and let stand covered for 5-10 minutes to steam dry. Each cup makes about 3 cups cooked rice.
