Stove Top: 1 servings; 1 cup water (or milk) (Use less water or milk for thicker oatmeal or more water or milk for thinner oatmeal); 1/2 cup oats; 1/8 tsp. salt (optional). 2 servings; 2 cups water (or milk) (Use less water or milk for thicker oatmeal or more water or milk for thinner oatmeal); 1/2 cup oats; 1/8 tsp. salt (optional). 6 servings; 6 cups water (or milk) (Use less water or milk for thicker oatmeal or more water or milk for thinner oatmeal); 1/2 cup oats; 1/8 tsp. salt (optional). Microwave Directions: 1. Combine water or milk, oats and salt in a 2-cup microwave-safe bowl. 2. Microwave on high 1-1/2 to 2 minutes. 3. Remove from oven; mix well. Stove Top Directions: 1. Bring water or milk and salt to a rolling boil. 2. Stir in oats; reduce to medium heat and cook 1 minute, stirring occasionally. 3. Cover, remove from heat and serve in 2-3 minutes.
